Position Overview:
We are seeking tutors to support our clients with ASVAB test prep. This is a part-time, 1099 contracted position starting at $20-$23 per hour, with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a real impact. We encourage applicants from Reno / Sparks / Spanish Springs / North Valleys to apply.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is in-person tutoring within the student’s home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring
• Conduct tutoring sessions at students’ homes, public locations, or virtually as per the student’s preference.
• Develop personalized learning plans with the student to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Maintain open communication with parents/caregivers and provide weekly session reports when applicable. 
• Engage with students to understand their unique learning styles and challenges and adapt your teaching methods accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Experience and Education:
• Minimum of one year tutoring or teaching experience
• Strong background in Test Prep and ASVAB tutoring, and/or high school subjects.
• Minimum of AA Degree. Preference shown to candidates with Teaching Certificate or BA and above
• Local School District Experience: Highly valued, especially if you have experience within the Nevada school district system.
• Personal Qualities: Patience, kindness, and excellent communication skills are essential. A genuine passion for teaching is a must.
• Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and pass a standard background check.
